Ag in the classroom with Agrible’s Jason Little

Last week, Agrible’s Director of Sales, Jason Little, had the honor of speaking to agriculture students at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois. Little talked to students about his experiences at Parkland, and also touched on the work he is doing now and how Parkland helped him through his journey.

“My career and experience in agriculture grew significantly from my years at Parkland College, but I’d say Parkland was my launching point,” Little says.

Looking back on his time as a student at Parkland College almost 20 years ago, Little remembers playing Euchre between classes but also getting practical, real-life experience, and meeting people that are now friends and valuable business contacts. Little is proud that the valuable experience is continuing in his family with his daughter, who is finishing her freshman year there.

“I don’t know if the students realize it yet, but they are about to join an elite group of people. Working in ag, they will be part of a very small portion of the population that actually produces food for the world,” Little explained.

This all comes down to giving back to the ag community at Parkland College to promote good stewardship for future generations. Agrible® and Parkland College are teaming up to offer students free subscriptions to Agrible’s Morning Farm Report® software. We want to give them the best insights so they can start making the right decisions early on. That’s “The insight to decide.”
