The Women Changing the Face of Agriculture conference has been around for several years and it is focused on investing in the future of agriculture. By bringing together high school and college students, who either have their futures planned or are unsure of what the future holds, it is a great way to network and learn about careers in agriculture from fellow women.

Having grown up in Iowa on a farm, I never knew of any other careers in ag besides staying on the farm. The Illinois AgriWomen have organized WCFA and continue to provide a great opportunity for young ladies to learn about other careers in ag that I only wish I could have had in high school. I left the conference feeling very excited for the next generation and what they have to offer, and just maybe, it’ll be a career in agriculture!
